Mr Alan Harlick obtained his 5th Dan black belt in 2016. He began training with Mr Robert Muir (Muir’s Taekwondo) in 1990 at the Helensvale Gold Coast branch.

Cassandra Reynolds
Cassandra Reynolds started taekwondo when she was 5 in NSW. Although travelling to WA and back to NSW she kept up her committment to Taekwondo over that time. Eventually moving to the Gold Coast in 2011 where she joined Muir’s TKD. She loves being surrounded by disciplined, enthusiastic and supportive people at Muir’s. Cassandra obtained her black belt in December 2013.
Michael Sauvage
Michael has been training with Muir’s Taekwondo for 4 years. He achieved is first dan in 2013. Mick is currently an Assistant Coach. You will see him coaching the Gold Coast Tournament Class. He is also the Gold Coast Fundraising Co-ordinator. He is married with three children, one of which also trains with Muir’s Taekwondo.
Savannah Askew
Savannah started training with Muir’s in 2008 and obtained her first dan in May 2013 under Mr Robert Muir. In 2014 Savannah obtained her 2nd dan under Mr Alan Harlick from Edge Taekwondo. Savannah regularly competes at State and National level competitions and has competed in New Zealand
Sharlene Askew
Sharlene commenced training under Robert Muir in 2008. 2012 saw Sharlene obtain her black belt followed by her 2nd Dan in 2014.
Montana Askew
Montana started training in 2007 and got her first dan in April 2010. She has continued to train with Muir’s Taekwondo and obtained her second dan in September 2011 and third dan in November 2013. In December 2017 she has obtained her 4th dan.
Montana has represented Australia as a black belt in the Malaysian Open.

Troy Anderson
Troy commenced training under Mr Muir in 1989. He obtained his first dan black belt in 2003 and obtained his secound dan in 2005, his third dan in 2009 and his fourth dan in 2013. He has been a member of the 2003 and 2005 Queensland State Teams, achieving silver and bronze medal positions respectively at the Australian Titles.

Ashlee Ward
Ashlee started taekwondo at the age of 6 with Muir’s Taekwondo Club. In December 2001 she achieved her first dan. She has since obtained her second dan (March 2008) and third dan (March 2011). Ashlee has competed at a State and National level for both poomse and sparring.
Scott Sheppeard
Scott started training with Muir’s Taekwondo in 1991. By 1993 he had his red belt and was in the “demo squad”, a team that performed Taekwondo demonstrations in public, at school fetes, shopping centres and other locations.
In 2000, after returning from a sabbatical, he furthered his training and finally earned his first dan. In 2004 he was ready to sit for his 2nd dan. A few days before the grading, he sustained an injury that prevented him from grading.
He returned to training after the birth of his first child, and finally sat for his 2nd dan grading in November 2013
Sharlene Askew – Gold Coast
Sharlene has a long history in the fitness industry. She has been a gym and fitness instructor and also competed in aerobic divisions. It was here that she won a couple of National Titles. Sharlene’s daughter become involved in the sport of taekwondo as a young girl and because of this Sharlene decided to give the sport a try. In 2008 Sharlene commenced training under Robert Muir. Sharlene obtained her 1st dan black belt in 2012 followed by her 2nd Dan in 2014.
